I personally don't like car covers. Have used them for 20+ years and probably spent $1k on them. Cheap, expensive, flannel lined, rain resistant, breathable, UV rays, blah, blah. They are all a PITA to put on, hard to wash/keep clean and within 2 years they rip. I use a duster and a good wax to keep the car clean and easy to keep dust off. My buddy sells high end classic cars and he uses the cheap clear plastic covers to keep off debris and dust if it helps.
