both good points, I go to a lake cottage over the summer and frequently have pop up storms, and have several trees with all kids of sap and debris, so if I do want to take my car, I will have to use a cover, My boat cover is a material that really repels the moisture and is kind of a hybrid vinyl type material. Not overly concerned if it does get damp, I will either let it dry out before I leave or after three hour drive home it would be laid out to dry.
