Just remember that on your weekend trips if there is a heavy dew or rain you now have a very wet car cover that you have to take with you. It will not dry in the trunk and if you are gone for a couple of days it can start to get pretty funky sitting in the trunk, more-so if you factor in summer heat.
I used a car cover once on a 3-4 day trip and never again!
