It won't be very fast. It only has a pump gas 455 with 6x heads. Probably has a little over 400hp and 500ft lbs of torque. Our local track runs 1/8 mile. I'll be running in the footbrake bracket class--no trans brake or delay box. It should run mid to low 7's. This would be aprox high 11's in the 1/4 mile.
This is sort of a nostalgia bracket car. It is meant to be similar to the last two 1st gens which my wife(TJ) raced back in the '70's & '80's. it's a low budget car, just like the others were. But, if this one is half the fun the others were, it'll be great. Don't have to win races like we did back then. Just makin a few passes will be fun to me.
The last "Born Again" was a '67. TJ ran a best of 11.82 with it. The first one was a '68. She won lots of races with that car.
