Hello all, I recently purchased new rear quarter glass for my 68 and am having a bear of a time installing the original chrome trim from the old glass onto the new one. I purchased the rubber sleeves from CI that are supposed to go between the glass and the chrome piece, but seems imposible to get the chrome on over the rubber. Is there a trick to this (soap and water did not seem to work) or should I just go ahead and use some silicone instead? If silicone, what kind should I use? Thanks in advance for any bright ideas.
