I used 3m adhesive and glued the rubber sleeves to the window. I let them set up over night. I bought aftermarket chrome trim because mine had pitting. I then put Dawn dish soap directly to the leading edges of the chrome trim. I then used a plastic tipped hammer and tapped them in place. Any rubber that stretched past the trim I cut off with a razor blade. I did four of them just like that this year. The other car I used the original trim so it should work.
