The Pontiac engine builder with the best rep, in AZ, is Paul Carter, at Koerner Racing engines, in Tucson. But his engine won't be cheap. He goes by the name GTOfreek. Has a group FB page & posts on the PY forum.
I have never bought an engine from either of these guys. Just passing on info. My neighbor builds my engines. But Louisiana is a bit to far from CA, to recommend him.
