Hi I have recently replaced the sbc in my 67 with a Pontiac 400. I fitted Headman header but the pitman arm hit the headers, it was a straight pitman arm so I changed it for a curved one. That solved the problem for the exhaust but now the inner tie rod end on the passenger side hits the oil pan on full lock, no problem on the drivers side but the passenger side is stopping full lock by probably a good inch. Not sure I have made this very clear but any help would be appreciated. I may have more clearance if I fit the tie rod to the front side of the centre link, is this possible ? Thanks Mark.
