They will work for both, Rod's went right in to replace the non-safety 67 latch he had. Scared the heck out of him when the hood flew up. Happened to me while driving an old 1953 Austin Countryman over the Auckland Harbour Bridge in Auckland New Zealand. Smashed out the glass and I got a face full. Rush hour of course!
