I have most of my car torn down and working on getting brake lines and the various valves back in.
It came with the disc/drum combo with a prop. valve on subframe under driver seat, and the 2 valves by the master.
I am aware that I need all of this stuff or the equivalent. Going to use the single piston calibers and probably rear drums. I have the calibers, brackets, backing plates, and rotors slightly used. Bought from a guy only selling those components.
I have been through all the previous posts on brakes which was helpful.
Thinking about using that single combination valve from later years that I have read about on the posts. Question is if I use that do I need the valve under the seat? And what lines and brackets to use?
Car has all the original parts. Car sat for 30 years or so before I got it 10 years ago. Since then I have worked on it from time to time and using some down time with current crisis and work hours decreased to get back on it.
I am not thinking of using the original parts as too old and risky. I have seen the originals available new, not cheap.
Thanks for any help.
