Awesome story and you're lucky you were able to get it at pre Covid pricing. Your story of the road trip when you first bought it reminds of a road trip in the 90's I did from Ma. to Florida to strip a highly optioned 68. I did it on a 3-day weekend driving 25 hours straight through each way only resting on the way down for about an hour. I wish I had that energy now, back then I would do anything for the right Bird parts and cars. P.s. Great looking 9 and love the color.
