Check it from center to lock in BOTH directions before you move the tie rods!!!
I once had some moron in an alignment shop set my alignment with the wheel clocked what looked to be about 120 degrees off. Afterwards, I couldn't pull a u-turn to the left if I had 4 lanes and an emergency shoulder, but the car could u-turn inside it's own length to the right. It was actually off 240 degrees in the opposite direction.
I can't even imagine what was on his mind, but being that it was the early 80's, controlled substances come to mind ....
