it binds on the shifter occasionally causing a loud snapping noise. I noticed the shifter wiggles as i turn the wheel, and turning sometimes feels a little rough. The plastic at the bottom looks to be coming apart, and the clip was coming off.

I found out the lower bearing is discontinued, but a '69 bearing works with modification according to some posts over on camarotech. I'll probably try to get parts thru this place:
