I would agree with Vikki. However to add a little more info, my guess is that the vacuum leak is actually IMPROVING the e-clone's fuel economy. As to the hood issue, my guess would be that moving the hood is moving a vacuum line that is cracked. Watch what moves when you close the hood and I believe you will solve that issue. Doubt you will solve the fuel economy issue with the e-clone.
