I have been a member of this forum for over 4 years and have watched the theatrics over the past couple of months.
I travel quite a bit with my job and have had the opportunity to personally meet many of the members on this site. I have spoken with countless others. One thing I have found is that for the most part, everyone wants to have fun, enjoy their cars and help others. I have found there are some who proport to be more than they really are or may not be as "reliable" as one would have thought and I "learn" how to deal with them as individuals. However; there is not one of us here who is infallable - we all have our "warts", so-to-speak. I find it best to take what people say with a grain of salt until I get to know them better.
I don't take it personal when someone criticizes me for my "lack of knowledge" or "incorrect recommendations". I know that sometimes I get it wrong or maybe others do not have the life experiences that I have, so they aren't able to have an open mind about some things.
I don't think it takes a mental heavyweight to figure out when someone's intention is only to disrupt/create chaos/draw people into their meaningless diatribes. The problem is when we are drawn into that and it gets out of hand.
I for one have decided to continue being a part of this forum, but will spend less time here until things have changed back for the better.
