My car is a stock 69 firebird, 2 barrel, #47 heads (73 cc 1.96 intake and 1.66 exhaust) stock single exhaust, th-400 tranny. rear end gears are around 3.00/1. What mods have you found that will provide an improvemnent in streetable torque. I've thought about the performer intake and cam combo. (204/214 duration 110 lobe separation.) A Jet Stage 2 carb from summit. Some 3.55 gears, and a Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust. How much gain could I expect with the long branch manifolds. (I think I want to stay away from headers this time around.) What have you guys found that works good on the 350 out on the street? thanks...Turk.
