A cam similar to the RA III would work well, the 3.55 gears would be good. 2 BBL heads can handle some performance mods and run quite well. I would use a 625 CFM carb on it. A factory Pontiac intake would work just as well as the Edlebrock but would be heavier. Long branch manifolds would be more reliable and would be an upgrade from the single exhaust system. Headers would perform better, but are a pain to keep tight and not leaking. Let us know how she does!
