I already have my son's 1st car. It is/was my dad's 78 El Camino (GMC Sprint) I drove it at times in HS when I was doing the body and paint on my second Firebird (the 68), while I was swapping motors in my first firebird (the 67, My 1st car) So it has history for me, and it's his grandfathers car... so it will have a special history for him too.

But I'll have to wait a while... he's only 5. So enjoy it while you can John... I'm sure he'll become more and more independent from now on...

Thanks Jim, it was my first resto after College. Broke, not much for a job, so a Bug was good cheap fun at the time, now even the VW's are high priced! That resto is about 20 years old now! Man!

I'll have to expand the Garage soon so no one has to sleep outside... especially up here in the Great North Wet!
