Thanks Bjorn for the support. At this time the car doesn't really need anything to be fully functional. In fact when Wanda came home yesterday she exclaimed how she just loves her new car. The brake hoses are just starting to crack so we're putting new ones on as we speak. The brake pads are mighty noisey, but the ones on there don't have shims on them and the new ones do. The edges on the new pads are chamfered too, so I'm comfortable that will address that issue. Fuel pump(s) are noisey...lots of humming. In the domestic world that would be indicative of a weak pump. I got to looking and found that the frame mounted pump is not well secured nor isolated at all. It has dealer installed A/C, but its not working as it should. I guess thats quite a list for being fully functional, but all that stuff is pretty much elective. What the car NEEDS is a radio. I spent a lot of the week end cleaning it up and it responded very well to that. It drives out and runs well for such a small engine. The old fellow that had it, bought it new and claims to have all the paperwork for the car that I am welcome to. All in all, I'm really pretty excited about tooling around in it. Just don't tell Fbody69. As for the 302, there is no way. What I have is a '67 Goat motor, complete with 670 heads that will transplant in it. LOL I WILL look you up when I have questions and truely appreciate your enthusiasm.
