VIN is on the block. It matches. Hockey sticks are missing off the nose, along with bumper emblem (replacement bumper). Minor stuff.
Have the PHS, it's an original 400 A/C car. It just needs the A/C parts restored. All the underdash ducting and controls are there. Jim, did you notice the heater hoses running through the heater box cover? It's the non-AC cover fitted to an A/C car.
I didn't know you were looking at it, Jim, until I went up there.
I went there right away when it was listed. First one to look. I pointed out the AC parts missing to the seller. He said, "I learned something". I offered him the $15K I had with me. He said that his dad wouldn't let it go for anything less than 25K. To me, it wasn't worth that. If it would have been completely restored I would have gave him $25. I would have had to do a lot of work to get it where I would want it to be. Add all the AC, R & R the subframe, clean all that goop off the bottom, fix the nose, fix the wheels, I liked the 'his and hers' shifter but it would have to go for the car to be worth the big money. I'm always looking for killer deals and I thought that $25 was just a fair deal. I was hoping that 15K in cash would do the talking, the seller wasn't listening to the money talk! With the auction the way it was it should have been the bidders(me) car at 15. I wasn't surprised when he ended it at the last minute. Not fair but what on eBay is? You have a buyer in Australia? Is it a member?
