Returning from South Florida in a state truck after a hard rain. It was dark and we were passed by a Semi who hit a large mud puddle (we thought) and covered the truck. Hit the wipers to clear the mud...only the mud was rather greasy. We pull over at a gas station and found the mud was actually the remnants of a bloated deer carcas which was now covering the front of the truck. Goo and stench was everywhere..even down inside the cowl vent.
I think I even hurled
The smell eventually went away...unlike cat pee which really is permanent
