You can try a product called GOO-BE-GONE. I think it is harmless enough for you purpose.You can find it in many places as it is a common product and it is reasonably priced as well.Apply it with a rag and let it saturate the paint and tape residue for a few minutes and then wipe it.Repeat if necessary.
