Yes, it sounds like it may be that the wires are mixed up on the coil? Kind of fails to advance etc... Let us know!

How come you took the pertronix off? I've just been looking for that and was going to put them on? Did you have any problems? If not were you going to sell it?
I'd be interested if you do... if you don't put it back on that is.
