I have a maroon 67 and might be replacing the top. It came with a black top, but a previous owner put a white top on.
Does anyone have an opinion on which looks better? Leaning toward the black.

What color interior?
If black, I'd go with black. If anything else, I'd give white consideration.

White looks ok as new ,but doesnt stay 'new' as long as black....but match the interior , thats the best look!

That's a matter of taste. Some like white on dark color cars or vice versa. Others like to keep it the original factory color. I have to side on keeping it original.
Vikki and Bjorn bring up a good point with interior color. And white tops are harder to care for.

Whe I bought my car it had already been "altered" from original (midnight green w dk green top and int)..to red with black interior , it had a white top (was ripped)that ONCE was white , very "off" in color, so when I replaced it I decided on black , to match interior and to be easier to keep the color

I vote for matching the interior color. To me it just looks like a mistake when the top is one color and the interior another.

OK I have a black interior and will replace my white with black.
I still need to fix the frame though. A weld broke when one of the hydro rams went bad. Thanks for confirming my thinking.
