Hi all.. Can I use stock 69 Firebird Motor mounts to install a 69 GTO 400 Cubber.. I sure do hope it will fit okay without having to modifiy the motor mounts.. anybody know,??. has anybody done this before.. Thanks... Dale

See the thread on multi-fit engine blocks. Your block should have 2 engine mount holes on each side drilled and tapped. If so, you are good to go.

It's exactly the same as the Firebird block.... Only difference is the numbers on it.

As stated above...yes...I have a I have a '68 dated, YS coded 400 from a Lemans/GTO in my ;67 Convertible Firebird...bolted in no problem....

Ditto...I have a 68 YZ 400 (68 GTO) and no problem.

Whew,, This is good news,, I have already spent a lot of money getting this thing rebuilt,, I was pretty sure it would fit, but I have been fooled before.. Thanks for the info,, I figured if anybody would know you all would.. Thanks again... Dale
