I saw this on ebay and it made me wonder where do you draw the line. The original engine is gone and it looks like the body is beyond repair. If you can save the body then what would you have in the car and what is it worth when done. I am not a fan of VIN swaps but it look like this car maybe headed that direction. This would have been a fantatic car to have to bad it was not taken care of. Look at the question section of the listing this my get ugly http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-Pont...tem110222737135

1968 Firebird 1969 Firebird project Routy Watch the build
Not sure about that one. It would take an awful lot of time and money to get that car back on the road. Would be pretty neat if it was truely a dealership performance car (looks like it could be), and I could imagine in fully restored condition it would be quite valuable.

The question section; LOL The seller needs to learn to not post all the questions. Specifically the ones that just cut the car down and argue....
Didn't it go something like......"we can make it better, stronger, faster....."?
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. HEY! I thought that was going to be a link to the Phoebe Cates clip!! Still awesome though. We used to drive our muscle cars to the drive in every Saturday, with the trunks full of beer, to watch this movie over and over. Guess what is there now, where the drive in used to be.... Google!!
Keep in mind, Cameron Crow was friends with a lot of bands from the early 70's when he was a writer for Rolling Stone magazine. If you have never seen it, I highly recommend his semi-autobiographical movie "Almost Famous"
Great, great movie.
Really sorry about the thread jack.
