Do you know where I can get a nice copy of the top picture? (Photo quality)
thanks,
Craig
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. I feel like I am diagonally parked in a parallel universe. 1968 400 convertible (Scarlet) 1976 T/A - 455 LE (No Burt) 1976 T/A New baby, starting full restoration. 1968 350 - 4 speed 'vert - 400 clone (the Beast!) 1968 350 convertible - Wife's car now- 400 clone (Aleutian Blue) (Blue Angel) 2008 Durango - DD 2008 GXP - New one from NH is AWESOME! 2017 Durango Citadel - Modern is nice! HEMI is amazing! 1998 Silverado Z71 - Father-daughter project 1968 400 coupe - R/A clone (Blue Pearl) (sold) 1967 326 convertible - Sold 1980 T/A SE Bandit - Sold
Here are two of the blue one. Also note the rectangular mirror, not used until mid '68 on production cars. The steering wheel is either clear top or woodgrain.
Vikki 1969 Goldenrod Yellow / black 400 convertible numbers matching
I`ve got a 69 red with two of the girls, same artist....lets see if I remember sunday to take pic and post (going to a car show all day tomorrow, we dont have snow!)
Ken Marcus paints these , his wife Lorraine sells them on EBay....I bought mine outside of EBay...from "other stock"...he does lots of cars with 'models'....mustangs, mopars etc
Take a look at Bob S's two picture posting, and look at the top picture. It shows the 400 bars and arrowhead on a non-400 car. So all you need to add is the arrowhead.
Interesting "factory" photo showing a configuration that was never offered to the public...

(lower picture)I like the jobsetter/inspector looking on in the assembly line picture. He's looking at the big guy wiping the car thinking, "If you scratch one more car with that fat belt buckle I'm going to kick your arse!"
It looks like one inspector per every 15 feet or so.
Boy, have times changed...

That young man is the perfect example. For the use of a child booster seat. How is he expected to drive when he can't even see over the dash. 1st pic is that green primer OUCH. No one hurt I hope.
