Right! Having one original does free up your hands on the second one. No guilt here at all! smile

I recently noticed that almost everyone (when redoing interior) chooses BROWN !!! -why the HeL1 would anyone sit in a color like that.. -whatever happened to matching the interior to the rest of the car??? (red w. black, white w. black, black w. black) -you know..

Is brown the new hot Sheet??

-Sure looks like it (sheet)

(no offense meant..)

I just can't stand it.. -but that's just me. smile

That "new" car is really, really nice. He was parked next to me at the POCI convention in Tulsa.

Don't get me wrong. -The craftman-ship looks top-notch.

BUT. Why the 90's interior look with doo-doo color???

I'll have to call it personal preference, to each his own, what in the world was he thinking when he did that, or something of that nature. It has an LS engine in it too that I personally can appreciate, but would have no part of.
Myself, I don't care what they do. And I certainly don't question them. If I can't find something good to say I'll say it to myself.
And if they don't like the way I wear my hair, I shov'em on down the line.

I agree.. -
-Very nice craftman-ship, but it's two totally different styles,
-the exterior and the interior.

-ofcause I love the engine. -Way better than any older designs, but I'm not sitting in the engine bay, as I drive my car.
-I love the 60's style of cars -(also 50's and 70's) -but for me the 'best of oth worlds' is: having the old stuff (read 'sh#t') look as nice as new in 67-69, BUT work out like it was from 2008. -that's the real challenge.

Still -it was only thecolor I was freaking out about.. (in a sorta good way...)Ofcause it's A-OK to take new interior but, again, -that's just me. dont get me wrong ..

red / white / black interior would stand out way more in any picture for that nice (way-nice) car.

I prefer lighter colors, it's a heck of a lot more comfortable in hot weather. (I have parchment on my 'vert and my last brand new purchase was tan).

I prefer the darker colors, easier to keep "Clean"....lol

and when hot/sunny out and you`re in a vert, flip the backrest forward when parking...(not for rear seat passengers , unfortunately...LOL)

I'm not as flexible like you Bjorn, so I'm not worried about bodily fluids in the vert. LOL!

I think the doo doo brown is popular because it is supposed to look like leather... Same with the doo doo tops. There is a faction out there that love red and brown. I've always wondered why?

Maybe because of the 70's look...?

Although it is really nicely done, I prefer the classic interior.
