I'd like it to have a deep throaty sound as V8-like as i can get it (I like the flowmaster super 40 series sound). Any ideas? I'd like dual exhaust at least from the muffler back, maybe from the exhaust manifold if there is room. Any ideas? Thanks! dave

I had duals on my 6 from the manifolds back. Stay away from Slowmasters. They are restrictive (although from the sound you wouldn't think it), obnoxiously loud, resonate, and sometimes the internally welded divertors break loose giving you a nice internal rattle.
I would try Gibson or Magnaflow mufflers. nice throaty sound without the resonance at cruise.
