Last weekend marked the 4th installment of the All Pontiac Day at Wenngarn Castle, north of Stockholm (just a stone's throw from Arlanda Airport).
Nice weather, and more than 150 Pontiacs from 1929 up to 2006 showed up from all over the greater Stockholm area. Among those a 1969 Trans Am owned by a fellow living in my part of town, Sweden's fastest Catalina, Indian motorcycles and a bunch of other interesting cars.
Some pics that I took of the event. (Captions in swedish I'm afraid.)
hey, do you know IF the 69TA bought in Belgium was built at the Belgian GM factory?
No, it' was a US import. The history before Leif (the current owner) purchased it from a used car salesman in Belgium 1976 is unknown. Might have been an early import, or someone in the US armed forces leaving it behind when going home. At that time, muscle cars were virtually impossible to sell over here...
lol, I know, I brought 2 75 Cutlasses over in 77....a year too late...instead of doubling my money ,selling them in 77 I got my money back...but still was ok to get your money back after 18 mo of using them...(paid $3800 and $4150 for them used in Houston in early 76)
