I have repro front inner fenders for 68 vert and am having trouble fitting the bumper brackets. Read somewhere that I need to trim some material to make them fit. Anyone know? Is this right? If so, how much?

Interestingly enough, we had to do the same to one our inner fenders yesterday. We have a 68 vert.
It wasn’t an aftermarket but may have been for a coupe or Camaro. We cut about 2” off. You’ll want to line up your brackets and eyeball the amount you need to clear. We cut ours about ¼” more than needed using a cut off wheel.
