You are an employer and the prospective employee that you are thinking about hiring has a blank resume’, terrible references, and he refuses to provide you the following records: - Certified Copy of original Birth certificate - Medical records - Occidental College records - Columbia College records - Columbia Thesis paper - Harvard College records - Past passport records - Adoption records
Do you hire him?

I still wonder how he got this far. Apparently the sheep eat all the garbage they are fed. It might be more appropriate to call them hogs, standing at the trough awaiting handouts.

Although I believe McCain was foolish to acknowledge Hagee's support, it is Hagee, not McCain, who made that statement. Just as Falwell made the preceding statement. And McCain is not a member of Hagee's congregation. There is a big difference. Exactly. There is a significant difference between people who support a candidate and people who the candidate chose as mentors and close advisors. I usually avoid the casual "supporters' references because the candidate is not necessarily endorsing them. However, Obama would not look very good there as I think about several world dictators, many Hollywood kooks, Communist Party of Illinois, George Soros, Louis Farrakhan, Jane Fonda, Hamas, Jesse Jackson, Bill Maher, Michael Moore, New Black Panther Party, Al Sharpton, Socialist Party USA, and a variety of criminals.

Did anyone read the article on MSN.com webpage yesterday about people already giving up and or not signing up for employer provided health ins. because they think Osama will make it available after the first of the year? I am looking for the article now to post a link. I could not beleive it. Well, actually I can beleive it. After this POS getting this far I'll pretty much beleive anything...

Neither of them are running for President.
Likewise, Wright and Ayers are not running for president, and Obama has never said anything close to what they have said. Heckuva double standard you have there. And regarding endorsements, McCain is pictured next to each of those men because he sought out not only the photo op, but their endorsements, because he knew he couldn't secure the Republican base without them. And this is after he had discarded them in the past as agents of intolerance. As for lists, I see everyone chose to focus on the usual liberal targets- "omigawd Jane Fonda!!!", but chose to completely ignore the list I posted just a few posts above..... "radicals" endorsing Obama among those "radicals" are three former members of W's cabinet : Powell, McClellan, and O'Neill. But, hey, if you want to play the guilt by association game and not-job endorsement game, consider this: Al Qaida supports McCain This is still fun, but when I hear comments that include "pigs at the trough", and "osama giving welfare to his brothers", I think we are abusing the privilege that Geoff has given us here. I know I won't change anybody's mind, but I still enjoy arguing the actual facts and points, and clarifying why I believe what I believe. I respect you all, and your beliefs, and your candidate, and I believe that both you and your candidate want what's best for Americans, we just have different ideas how to do so. Insulting either of the candidates with racist or personal attacks demeans all of us.

Ah, yes. It is fine if a member who agrees with you uses disparaging and personal comments, though, right?
The mere fact that the UN endorses Obama is enough proof that he is more concerned with making the U.S. a good global citizen than retaining our sovereignity.

Let's not forget Biden's remarks a couple weeks ago:
"Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy."
"Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy."
That's just what we need.

Dear Fellow Business Owners
As a business owner who employs people, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barack Obama will be our next president, and that my taxes and fees will go up in a BIG way.
To compensate for these increases, I figure that the Customer will have to see an increase in my fees to them of about 8-10%. I will also have to lay off some of my employees. This really bothered me as I believe we are family here and didn't know how to choose who will have to go. So, I strolled thru the parking lot and found eight Obama bumper stickers on my employees cars. I have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off.
I can't think of another fair way to approach this problem. If you have a better idea, let me know.
I am sending this letter to all business owners that I know.
I don't think there are any federal anti-discrimination laws that would apply here.

THE USGA WOULD LIKE TO INFORM ALL GOLFERS There is a possibility of MAJOR rule changes to the game of golf, this may occur after November 4. This is only a preview as the complete rule book is being written now.
Here are a couple of basic changes. Golfers with handicaps: - below 10 will have their green fees increased by 35% - between 11 and 18 will see no increase in green fees - above 18 will play for free and even get a check from the club/course played.
The dollar amount put in for bets will be as follows: -for handicaps below 10 an additional $10 -between 11 and 18 no additional amount -above 18 you will receive the total amount in the pot and you do not even have to play.
The term “gimme putt” will be changed to “entitlement” and will be used as follows: -handicaps below 10, no entitlements -handicaps above 11 to 17, entitlements for putter length putts -handicaps above 18, if on green, no need to ever putt, just pick it up
These entitlements are intended to bring about fairness in scoring so that the final scores of all players will be about the same.
In addition, a Player will be limited to a max of one birdie and/or six pars, any excess must be given to those fellow players who have not yet scored a birdie or par. Only after all players have received a birdie or par from the player making the birdie or par, can that Player begin to count his score again.
The current USGA handicap system will be used for the above purposes but the term 'net score' will be available only for scoring those players with handicaps 18 and above. This is intended to 'redistribute' the success of winning by making sure that in every competition the above 18 handicap players will post only 'net score' against every other player's gross score.
These new Rules are intended to CHANGE the game of golf. Golf must be about Fairness Only, it should have nothing to do with Ability.

OHHH it's a beautiful morning and it will be a sweet day in deedy! It's supposed to be over 70 degrees and sunny. Maybe break some temp records set in 1964. I think we will drive one of the 'Birds over to vote. We can rub shoulders with all the 'folks'. Voting just makes me happy! Especially when we have such great men to choose from. We are a blessed country there's no doubt.

Just back from doing my "job", voting...voted almost straight ticket...left one blank, voted for two democrat judges... its a beautiful day here too Jim, sunny, clear, will be in the mid 70`s...but opposite your area it wont be a heat record...our heat records were in the late 40`- early 50`s...when the real GW took place!
I was just reminded last night about another thing... I got my "alive certificate" to be validated by a Swedish entity yearly so I can keep getting my "pension" from there...its sent out by "Försäkringskassan", meaning "the insurance company" lol...pretty telling of a socialist place..."the insurance company" handles , pensions, medicare, health insurance.....do you think theres any competition there?

What is a greater threat to our nation, an enemy that is known or an enemy that is hiding in a Trojan horse? What's strange is that much of his danger is known and people are choosing to ignore it. This letter is attributed to David Letterman, I do not know if there is any truth to the source, but there certainly is to the content.
No matter what your political convictions are this is an eye opener....What a thankless people we are!!!
David Letterman, on President Bush. (Surprising) David Letterman wrote this; it's the David we don't often see....
'As most of you know I am not a President Bush fan, nor have I ever been, but this is not about Bush, it is about us, as Americans, and it seems to hit the mark.' 'The other day I was reading Newsweek magazine and came across some Poll data I found rather hard to believe. It must be true given the source, right?
The Newsweek poll alleges that 67 percent of Americans are unhappy with the direction the country is headed and 69 percent of the country is unhappy with the performance of the President. In essence 2/3 of the citizenry just ain't happy and want a change. So being the knuckle dragger I am, I started thinking, 'What are we so unhappy about?'
A. Is it that we have electricity and running water 24 hours a day, 7 Days a week?
B. Is our unhappiness the result of having air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter?
C. Could it be that 95.4 percent of these unhappy folks have a job?
D. Maybe it is the ability to walk into a grocery store at any time and see more food in moments than Darfur has seen in the last year?
E. Maybe it is the ability to drive our cars and trucks from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean without having to present identification papers as we move through each state.
F. Or possibly the hundreds of clean and safe motels we would find along the way that can provide temporary shelter?
G. I guess having thousands of restaurants with varying cuisine from around the world is just not good enough either.
H. Or could it be that when we wreck our car, emergency workers show up and provide services to help all and even send a helicopter to take you to the hospital.
I. Perhaps you are one of the 70 percent of Americans who own a home.
J. You may be upset with knowing that in the unfortunate case of a fire, a group of trained firefighters will appear in moments and use top notch equipment to extinguish the flames thus saving you, your family, and your belongings.
K. Or if, while at home watching one of your many flat screen TVs, a burglar or prowler intrudes, an officer equipped with a gun and a bullet-proof vest will come to defend you and your family against attack or loss.
L. This all in the backdrop of a neighborhood free of bombs or militias raping and pillaging the residents. Neighborhoods where 90% of teenagers own cell phones and computers.
M. How about the complete religious, social and political freedoms we enjoy that are the envy of everyone in the world?
Maybe that is what has 67% of you folks unhappy.
Fact is, we are the largest group of ungrateful, spoiled brats the world has ever seen. No wonder the world loves the U.S. , yet has a great disdain for its citizens. They see us for what we are. The most blessed people in the world who do nothing but complain about what we don't have, and what we hate about the country instead of thanking the good Lord we live here.
I know, I know. What about the president who took us into war and has no plan to get us out? The president who has a measly 31 percent approval rating? Is this the same president who guided the nation in the dark days after 9/11? The president that cut taxes to bring an economy out of recession? Could this be the same guy who has been called every name in the book for succeeding in keeping all the spoiled ungrateful brats safe from terrorist attacks? The commander in chief of an all-volunteer army that is out there defending you and me?
Did you hear how bad the President is on the news or talk show? Did this news affect you so much, make you so unhappy you couldn't take a look around for yourself and see all the good things and be glad? Think about it......are you upset at the President because he actually caused you personal pain OR is it because the 'Media' told you he was failing to kiss your sorry ungrateful behind every day.
Make no mistake about it. The troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have volunteered to serve, and in many cases may have died for your freedom. There is currently no draft in this country. They didn't have to go. They are able to refuse to go and end up with either a ''general'' discharge, an 'other than honorable'' discharge or, worst case scenario, a ''dishonorable' discharge after a few days in the brig.
So why then the flat-out discontentment in the minds of 69 percent of Americans?
Say what you want, but I blame it on the media. If it bleeds it leads and they specialize in bad news. Everybody will watch a car crash with blood and guts. How many will watch kids selling lemonade at the corner? The media knows this and media outlets are for-profit corporations. They offer what sells, and when criticized, try to defend their actions by 'justifying' them in one way or another. Just ask why they tried to allow a murderer like O.J. Simpson to write a book about how he didn't kill his wife, but if he did he would have done it this way......Insane!
Turn off the TV, burn Newsweek, and use the New York Times for the bottom of your bird cage. Then start being grateful for all we have as a country. There is exponentially more good than bad. We are among the most blessed people on Earth and should thank God several times a day, or at least be thankful and appreciative.' 'With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, 'Are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?'
-David Letterman

Interesting reading... In 2006, for example, ACORN registered 1,800 new voters in Washington. The only trouble was, with the exception of six, all of the names submitted were fake. The secretary of state called it the "worst case of election fraud in our state's history." As Fox News reported: "The ACORN workers told state investigators that they went to the Seattle public library, sat at a table and filled out the voter registration forms. They made up names, addresses, and Social Security numbers and in some cases plucked names from the phone book. One worker said it was a lot of hard work making up all those names and another said he would sit at home, smoke marijuana and fill out the forms." ACORN explained that this was an "isolated" incident, yet similar stories have been reported in Missouri, Michigan, Ohio, and Colorado -- all swing states, by the way. ACORN members have been prosecuted for voter fraud in a number of states. (See www.rottenacorn.com.) Their philosophy seems to be that everyone deserves the right to vote, whether legal or illegal, living or dead.

Old news really. And to keep things in context; This is voter registration fraud NOT voter fraud. None of the made up names will be eligible to vote. When you vote you show a picture ID and you are also checked off a list. Mickey Mouse isn't going to show up at any poll to cast a vote....
