I ran across some old letters this morning digging through my 40 yrs. old FB records. Both are from Pontiac with the older responding to my questioning how to order a '67 GTO w/o sound deadening. The other is a response to my questioning the use of the higher ratio rocker arms w/ regard to push rod length. I wanted to share them with those of you who would enjoy them, but wasn't sure of where to post them.

Interesting production numbers on the RA V. I thought production stopped with the '69 production year.

I saw an episode on tv that featured the only ram air V ever built (a beautiful 68 or 69 Judge..-Can't remember)

Ha!

Seems like a lot more ram air V's was out there.. -'Getting the job done'..

Cool.

Jim – Do you remember what your original question was related to the RAV?

For those that do not know, Tom Nell was probably one of the most intelligent engineers related to engines at GM during that time.

Brian - As I recall, it was regarding availability of parts to convert my '67 over to a RAV. But, it's been over 38 years, so I can't be sure.
