I did a search, but could not find an answer to my question. The front bumper on my car sits about 3/8" too low, at least in my opinion, for proper alignment with the hood/fenders. The slots in the bottom brackets that attach to the frame do not appear to allow any more upward movement of the bumper. Since the bumper, grilles, header panel, etc. all seem to be connected, how does one raise the overall position of the bumper? What all needs to be loosened, besides the four lower bracket bolts, in order to reposition the bumper? Thanks in advance for any help, this forum is great!
What all needs to be loosened to raise the bumper? Can I raise it by slotting the four bolt holes behind the grilles, or does it have to be done at the bolts that attach to the frame?
find the brackets that come forward and holds the grille, they are about 12" long or so....those are slotted, and you can adjust..its a tedious job, and will most likely require two people and a couple of hours to get it right...my buudy did his with help from another friend of mine...I saw it being done, but cant really describe it in words..
