Managed to get an NOS GM valance for the front (I have a problem with the drivers signal lite fit). It was not cheap!
I assume the black paint on it merely will need a good sand and primer before painting...or would you suggest taking it down to bare metal? This one has no rust on it from storage so can only assume the black paint is good to go...

I guess I am just going to give the black base a good sand for bite, then go ahead with the epoxy primer and urethane....I want to get this painted and on during the off season, so that the drivers signal lite fits perfectly.....
After all the black base from GM has been on there 40 years....should be good to go....
