Hi, I was wondering what those two tabs with two small holes in the lower valance are for. They look like light attachments. I also notice two wires on the driver side that have a plug ends...for lights?

Jason,

Do you have any pictures to better show what your question is? The front marker lights attach to the underside of the valence. There are three screws that go through the lense assembly up into the metal tabs.

Are these what you are referring to?

Early model '68's had two plugs each for the front marker lights. Later '68's had one plug each.

The wires look like the signal wires. On my 68, an early model, I had the 2 bulb signals and had the two wires going to it. As the signals were beyond rehab I was forced to go one bulb signals, and also have the spare wire zap strapped up underneath. Are your signal lites hooked up???

As for the tabs I would have to look at mine...don't recall them from memory.

The round plug looks like the marker light plug. The flatter plug looks like a horn plug.

I don't think the holes in the bottom of the valence are used for anything. I think they were a carry-over for '67 that had inner marker lights.

According to Vikki, the extra plug on yours was for a very small number of cars that had multiple lights in the turn signal assembly. She posted a pic of one of the assemblies in this thread:
