...the article on my car is now posted on HPP's website: http://www.highperformancepontiac.com/features/hppp_0903_1967_firebird_400_convertible/index.html

The colors are truer online, but the picture in my signature is more accurate yet.

Thanks John. I haven't been able to find the latest HPP up here yet. What an amazing story. I never knew your car had such history!

Thanks for posting the link John. What a great story! I had let my HPP subscription lapse several months ago so I had not yet seen the article.

Good story. I thought I was doing good with mine being a little over the 10,000th one off the assembly line! frown Maybe mine is the first Montreux Blue one. wink

I did, but I'm unhappy with it. It looks like they scanned a magazine and spent about 30 minutes laying it out. They told me that they got the electronic artwork from Primedia and would reformat the whole article, but I think they were lying. The quality of the materials is very good though. I'm calling them Monday to send it back and will have someone locally make up board using a couple extra issues I bought.

John, I think you did it again? Were yo attending the TA Nationals?
Page 58 of the new HPP shows an all over shot and it looks like your front and center, got the car all set up and kick'n it in your chair...

Nice work... in HPP twice in two months! Lol...

Really Brett?! I guess I'll need to wait a week to get my issue and see for myself.

Yes, that's me. Coincidentally, the car to the left is what mine looked like when it left the factory.

I stayed to the bitter end and drove home in a true down-pour alongside some trucks on the freeway between construction barriers. I hope I never do that again, but it was good to know the wipers worked and the top doesn't leak! Just so you know - I do drive this car!
