The block and drive-train on my 69 is original. It's a nice driver and not a performance car in the slightest. I was thinking of going back to factory -- put the old 47 heads on and going back to a 2 bbl carb with a factory intake.
Why is it that you never see 2 barrel carbs out there? I would think they would be pretty common...
Oh, and anyone have the correct 2 barrel carb and intake?
i have a bunch of the intakes and i may have a nos 2 bbl carb if the guy i promised it to backs out of the deal.i save those parts cause they have value to me.
Terry, that would be very cool! Hang onto one of your better intakes (I can blast and paint it) and let me know if you can come up with the carb. 7028071 would be correct and it has to be at least good enough for me to rebuild it to a functioning level with a kit. LOL
i have a 7029062 which is a 69 auto 2bbl and your choice of intakes.free for you if you want to come pick them up.there are some parts missing on the carb so i have another one you can scavenge parts from.or just pay the shipping
