I am new here so this may have already been posted but I am looking for a source for standard seat covers in white for my 1969 convertible. Any sources? I have found every color but white...why?
a couple actual manufacturers you can try are gahh or katskinz. barrow had them but since closed the automotive dept. but ci or the paddock should have them in stock. legendary does not carry them, which is a shame because they make a great product. if you really got stuck i can make them, but that would be as a last resort, i also have white interior and would not consider any other color for my own car.
make sure whoever you get them from that they sew foam into the covers not dacron (synthetic cotton) as they would look like sh*t when they are installed.
Thanks for the info. As I said I am new to the forum. Who is CI? I cannot google anything on them or barrow. None of the other suggestions have white. Why is white so hard to find?
It sounds like all covers are not created equal!! Thanks for the heads up on construction!
I now wonder if I have white or pearl white interior. I would think the white is stark white. This seems to look a little off white. It may be white, but faded. How do I tell?
Mine have been "Parchment" which is an off white with a pearlescent finish. I didn't know they actually offered "white" that year! Or is this a customization?
1969 Firebird 350 Coupe, Rust free Texas body, formerly brown, now a TA clone with quality spoiler, latching hood and TA wheel; 1969 GTO Convertible Expresso Brown/Parchment(currently painted red). Both numbers matching. My first love was a Cameo White 67 326 Coupe, bought back in 1983, at the age of 17, for $1,200. Been hooked since on PONTIAC! Working on a 67 400 ragtop for customization-Gulf Turquoise/Parchment/400/4 spd! My winter project!
