go up to "post new topic" on top this page to the right, right under it you`ll find "directory", click on it, then search under "Keyword" then "location" type in Tennessee or Alabama, you`ll see whos registered in those states....I dont recall seeing much posted from Tn ,but think there are 3 or 4 posters from Al., when you find the registered ones in ea state you can go in and dso a p.m. (private message) to those guys and see if you get an answer...I`ve done that fairly successfully before...
good luck!

I have a 68 400. It is due to be out of the paint shop Friday, Hope to have it back together in a couple of weeks. What model do you have? We need to meet sometime. I don't know any Firebird owners around here.

I am located in Talladega,AL . If you ever need parts or help, let me know. Some friends of mine put on a FB/TA show in Ft.Walton Beach every spring that I would recommend. web page There is a POCI chapter in AL,that I used to be a member of. They are not that active and have run the annual show in the ground. I would recommend joining POCI International club and go from there. thepontiacman@yahoo.com 256-362-6674

I am, of course, in Nashville. Actually about 30 minutes north in Adams.
This past Saturday, I was pulling my 1968 into the carwash here and guess what pulls up in the stall beside me? A very nice 1969 400! Its the first FGF I've seen here besides mine in almost three years!

In three years I've only sprayed water on her twice!! Second time was last weekend when I got home, and needed to quickly knock the dust off her! It was hot and sunny so I took a chance.
Other than those two times, its all hand wash and dry and no hoses or pressure. I can't stand the thought of water pooling up all over inside her, and just don't do it. She's been sleeping in the garage every night since the day I got her. Two new cars sit in the rain outside, but the '68 has a garage all to herself.

Yep, surrounded by a display of "parts that almost were"...his garage is dedicated to the 'bird. Mine is a little more crowded. The new cars sit outside. ![[Linked Image]](http://abilitypc.com/photos/firebird/uploads/garage.JPG)

I just got my 68 ragtop about a month ago for my 40th birthday. I am in Memphis. Snakeater, I think you are the only one to post on this thread in years. You are also probably the closest around to me. We will have to get together soon.
