House of Kolor, Kandy Apple Red, I painted it black first, then went over the black with the transparent Kandy Apple red. It looks different depending on how the light hits. It's actually really bright, when the light is right, but very dark on the shadow side. House of Kolor is an awesome product.I'm trying to get the pics to come up as a full page so it will look better.

This is my 68 bird I restored, it was my friends mom and dads car when we were in high school, it sat for about 20 years, mice chewed up the interior, but I completly redone everything, it has the 350HO motor, with a 4-speed, 30,000 miles on it but i'm trying to put on a thousand this summer to break in the rebuilt motor. I did alll the body and paint myself as well as the carpet, had a pro shop do the engine work, but I installed it, had a pro shop recover the seats with classic Ind. kit. Black interior. I have the original wheels for it but I put them away and put these old american racing ones on, "TA Radials" probably havent seen them much, about 20 years old also. thanks for the complements.

You're welcome! You don't mean the tires are actually 20 years old, do you? If so be careful. Mine also had 20 year old tires with only a couple of miles on them. One had a belt blow out while sitting in the garage over the winter, it had a blister in the tread 10" long, 4" wide and 2" high and felt like I had a tennis ball strapped to the tire. Old tires are bad news, the rubber loses its flexibility and its grip on the radial plys.

Yes I do mean the tires are 20 years old, one is splitting on the side, just haven't decided what to do with them yet. I don't even know if they make the TA radial anymore, maybe I should put the old stock wheels back on, and throw these on my 68 Camaro?? If even mention new tires right now my wife will bring out the GUN Maybe for Christmas

BF Goodrich still makes Radial T/As. I took the 20+ year old set off my car and replaced them with brand new ones 5 years ago. They have just a few thousand miles on them but I expect they will need replacement in only two or three years due to age.

Yea that sucks, mine only have a few thousand miles also, almost all the tread left, just getting old and brittle.
