I'm certainly glad I graduated High School in Missouri. I couldn't properly answer many of those questions to pass 8th grade back then.

just gave my 5th grader this test and she did surprisingly good.

grammar - 4 of 7 right and about a B on the essay
math - 100% but with a little plagerism on the 1st problem
history 100% let her do alabama since she actually covered that
spelling - 7 out of 10 right and 2 marginally right
geography - 100% again subbing alabama for kansas

she was allowed all of her previous notes a set of world book encyclopedias and 10 minutes per subject on the internet.

I, on the other hand used the internet for grading and on a couple of the grammar and spelling, had to call a retired english teacher friend to explain.
