I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. and what I hear from another car guy: "Distracted by a low flying pelican"? Yeah, right, that wing doesn't deploy until 138 mph (220 kph). He never hit the brakes, either, because the wing will go to 60 degrees at 200 kph to act as an air brake.. so, pelican my a$$

Salt water does very bad things to electronic systems. Who knows how it will initially react.

I didnt see any pelican??? but looks like he was just going a little faster than the guys on the freeway...as he is on the feeder road....
but feeder road is usually 45 mph , freeway down there (this is outside Galveston) is 65 or 70 depending on stretches...
I see no pelican though?

No pelican. Just a purely stupid driver. The car did do a nice job of maintaining stability during that offroad excursion. And no air brake was needed, the water did that just fine.

if you watch the video theres absolutely no pelican and the guy turns the wheel without even trying to correct his mistake knowingly and intently driving into the lagune. cant see spending that much cash for a car. i wouldnt mind however being able to buy the engine for scrap price as now its only worth a boat anchor.
