I don't think it's real '67. I noticed the windshield wiper motor came from '68 and I don't see '67 vin# plate on the driver's side frame by door. '68 and up vin# supposed to be on the dash panel on the left side in the corner by windshield. I had a 1968 that don't fits '67 doors into it. Each year '67, '68 and '69 are different door hinges. This is my old pic of '67 1/2 Firebird (7/27/67) w/ '74 Pontiac 400/400 on Jan 1st, '90. She had original Tyrol Blue Ext. with Std. Dark Blue Int., 326 2bbl, 4spd, 2 traction bars, 1 of 6,078 built in '67. I'm the current owner of '67 Firebird 400 coupe with original code F-400 Option, 1 of 22,636 built in '67 with rare T400. My brother & I picked her up and brought her to my new home. It's original eng. & trans. are long gone. Has factory K-Gulf Turquoise under primer, had Ivory vinyl top. Has factory RH traction bar w/ 3.08 gear, J-custom option with original Deluxe Parchment Int., has rare fold down rear seat. I'll look for a good running '67 400/400 when it's done. No problem, the "Ramblings and Chatter" section is usually where they tear apart all the mis-guided ebay and Craigslist listings.

1967 firebird A.I.R. 400 or California-emissions Firebird 400 four-speed hardtop. It also came with dual factory traction bars or safe-T- track rear axle, 10 bolt posi, front power disc brakes, PS, a Muncie 4 speed, Console, Dual exhaust, dual horns, and Soft Ray Glass windshield. Red on Red car... and a hood tach, rally gauge cluster... Maybe for sale??? Its sitting in MO and I am now in CA. Anyone want to haul it my way? PM me.
1220 of them were “(WU)” 400 A.I.R. 4 barrel manual transmissions. (Engine codes in parenthesis are for cars built with AIR Injector Exhaust Control, code 616. This was an emissions reduction modification performed on the heads. They were cast with an air injection passage to reduce emissions. They were installed on Firebirds manufactured for sale in California only).
It has a 24 339 code for the dealer on it from PHS... It was from Peninsula Pontiac, 2909 Pacific Coast Highway, Torrence, CA 90505
