I am sure it is pretty simple, but I haven't figured it out yet. How do you remove the key cylinder from the glove box door?

There is a single philips head screw on the back of the door. Take that screw out,slide the cylinder and latch forward and voila.

The trim ring spins off.

how does the trim ring spin off...i was told you have to have the key in the key hole to do this....no luck yet....Keith

Keith,
I had the door off the car. I just held the back of the lock cylinder and turned the outer trim ring and it came right off. I did not have the key in the lock.
