here are some new photos... after painting the car in the winter, I finally got to bring it outside in the sun. it looks great for a hillbilly paint booth and having the flu! I still have to polish the hood and wax the car out. man... I never thought i would get this far. for those who don't know, i replaced the roof, full quarters, tail, filler, dash top, door skins and finally painted it myself. I don't think ill do that again. currently iam working on the interior. nuts!! i quess..
That color looks great!! One of my '70 GTO's was almost exactly that color. If it'd had a black interior, I would probably still have it. What color interior are you going with?
thank you for the responses. yes it is a lot of sweat and pain. still there's work left to do. i hope these photos will give others can get a little inspiration to get there also.
I might have asked this before. Is that Nightshade Green? I use to own a '68 GTO convertible that color. But the paint was in bad shape, so it's true nature wasn't seen.
I think he mentioned it was Cypress Green? Kind of looks inbetween Night Shade and Verdoro, but in any case, it looks Great! One to be very proud of for sure!
