Love the play on words... So many twists and turns someone might believe his ramblings. He's probably is an attorney or used car salesman

Totally clueless. He is going to have that car on his hands for a LONG time.
Takes an original 350 2-bbl '69 vert, sticks a 400 in it and thinks worth as much as a T/A

Mark,
After 2 beers last night, I almost spit up my last sip after I observed the same assertion..an original 2 bbl 350 with an asking price of a RA car.
The guy wants EVERY penny he spent on his restoration PLUS. That is insane.
In particular interest was this statement.
"There was no rust repair. Any problem was replaced with new metal; front pans and pass side qtr."
Huh?

for that much mone you think it would have the factory radio and uncut dash.
atleast it has the tri-side guges underneath.
i guess he wasnt able to afford the trigauges and had to get em separate?
my car is a vert with a 350 so if i put my 428 in will it be worth 100k? 1 of 1?

A similar car, although all original and with a 4-speed, sold at Barrett Jackson for over 60k. I'm sure that is where he came to the conclusion that his peiced together car was worth just as much. I have heard the argument that those auctions just give owners false ideas of what real cars are worth and I guess this proves it.

It's rare because everyone hates it so much they are no longer column shift. I just love the center console... So much time and effort to go to autozone to pick out.. "needs body work and pain". bet it wasn't a typo...

Anyone wanting to convert their floor shift auto over to the rare column shift I just happen to have a '69 column shift steering column that I will let go for somewhere in the $2-3k range. I'll even throw in a clock delete plate.
