I plan on having my 69 interior and convert. top restored soon. With so many part distributers out there I could really use some guidance. I want my interior to last for many years, but dont want to overpay... Any companies I should avoid? (Thanks for your time!) -Tim
I have also used PUI and have been happy. Another company that several people claim to be even better is Legendary. I've seen a few cars with their interiors and the only thing I notice is that their material does have a heavier feel to it. I have a friend in MD who uses Legendary on every car he restores and he swears by them.
Thanks. I called Legendary and they said do not make seats or panels for the 1st Gen FB's, but might start in one year. Also, Im told PUI is the only company making seats anywhere. Interesting.
That can't be true, someone else must make them. I noticed my seats from CI only have the look of pleats in them, they are only impressions in the material and don't "puff" or raise up from the surface. But I have seen others that the pleats are actually formed and "puff" up from the surface.
I think it is Rick First Gen Camaros that sells them.
I just purchased a Parchment interior from C.I. Where your seats changed under your ownership? My body tag says Parchment, but my very orig looking seats, headrest, armrest tops all look very Ivory. The rest of my car looks parchment. Make me wonder if someone replaced them with the wrong color or maybe they faded? Did you have any issues like that?
