Does anyone know where I can get the gauge faces redone for my 67 Rally Gauges and speedo? I emailed Redline, but he persisted in telling me a 120 speedo was wrong for a 67 Firebird, and never would give me a price. I will settle for the stick on kind, but want factory look, no the white ones I see on ebay, etc (plus, they are not for FB gauges anyways)
Thanks Virgil

These guys are outstanding and reasonable. Heard about them from a Ferrari Restoration site and they have refurbished the '68 Rally gauge cluster I picked up and the matching console clock. They converted the clock to quartz too: D & M Restoration

I read an article last month on this. I thought it was in HPP. They took a TA speedo and had it calibrated and refaced.
Anyone remember the article? I seem to recall the place was in Virginia.

Thanks everyone. I have emailed both and appreciate your time.
Earlybird, I even sent him a link to the tech section of this site, and pictures of a friends 67 with rally gauges, and got "they are Camaro gauges", so I quit trying. Oh, well, someone else will appreciate the business.
Thanks again.

Got a reply back from Tachman. Said he does not have the artwork to redo 67 Firebird faces. Maybe I'll luck out on D & M.

120mph for 67, 160mph for 68 in Rally Gauges... Ahhh...think all 68's rally/non rally had 160 speedo's. 120 for all 67's is correct. Think Pontiac realized 120 wasnt enough?

Well, Redline DID email back, but said "to do what you need done complete is around 850.00" Maybe I stated something wrong in my email, but I was just wanting gauges checked and faces refinished. Is this a normal cost for this service? I could buy new 68 gauges for less.

Who's Redline? D & M charged me $250 for the gauges by themselves (my speedo was OK) and about $200 for the clock. Those were complete rebuilds/refaces

$850 is way too much for a reface and calibration.

Salmon38, I am still waiting to hear back from D & M. Redline's website is http://www.redlineg.com/ Looks like nice work, but more than I want to spend for a driver.

OK, talked to D & M. Am sending pictures, he is saying roughly 350-500 to redo. Still seems like a lot, to do faces.

They will also test them out to make sure they are A-OK. I will bet you that price range includes rewiring them in case they are out of spec.
