Generator lights comes on like I have turned the ignition key on when I sit in drivers seat and apply pressure to the right side near the console. If I ease up short goes away. Does the rear wire harness travel under the front drivers seat?
Not if it's where the factory placed it - which is under the edge of the carpet under a galvinished metal cover over a channel just inside of the drivers side rocker panel.

Do you have an Automatic transmission? If so, a portion of the harness could be biting into the wire. Remove the console and have a look. It comes off fairly easy.
